Examples of units on the main qualification include:

- Sector units including, Art, Information Technology, Childcare, Media and Catering. The sector units give learners the opportunity to take the skills they have built up in the core units and really showcase what they know and understand about their sector.
- Maths and English qualifications are included in the programme.
This qualification has a core of underpinning knowledge, skills and understanding, and a range of options to reflect the breadth of pathways within this sector.
