Clubs and Societies
Introduction

New clubs, groups and societies are encouraged across all of our campuses.
Recent clubs have included a Film Club, Dungeons and Dragons, Chess, Uno, Blazepod Challenge group, Virtual Reality Club, and many more.
Quite simply, we want you to tell us what groups or clubs you would like to create and the Wellbeing Team will do its best to help set it up and facilitate it.
Quite often, these clubs require funding of sorts to purchase equipment for example, and the college Students’ Union is keen to help where it can with its funds.
As well as the sports and social clubs, we also have other groups including LGBTQ+, Disabled, Environmental, Young Carers, Christian Union, Neurodiverse and a whole range of others you could join if you had an interest.
Some groups are campus specific, but being online enables these groups to meet up, regardless of where they are situated. This strengthens the community and allows the groups to grow larger, and in turn, stronger.
If you would like to set up your own group, please contact the Students’ Union Vice President, Be Active Coordinator or Wellbeing Officer on your campus.
Our Esports staff and Academy students recently attended BETT 2025, where our CSG Rocket League Team competed in this year’s British Esports Student Champs Rocket League Tournament.

The National Saturday Club is an initiative involving thousands of young people taking part in various clubs across the UK.
