How to apply for a course

The Application Process

It starts with some research - Come to an open evening, browse our website and once you’ve found a course, click apply.
Complete your online application - check out our guidance or contact the admissions team if you need help.
Next step is an interview - It’s your chance to tell us about yourself, and our chance to get you on the right path.
You’ll get an offer via email - Accept it and your journey begins.
The last step is enrolment - This happens on results day, bring in your grades and we’ll guide you through the enrolment process.

Find a course online and click the apply button.

You will be sent to a login screen.

If this is your first time applying, you will need to create an account. Please use a personal email address, and not a school email address. When you create your account, you will create your own password reminder question, and answer, in case you forget your password in the future.

If you already have a Prospect account, or if you are a current student, you can use those details to login.

Stage 1

Stage 1 of the application is where you fill in your personal details. When you are finished, click continue.

Any box with an asterisk (*) must be completed or you won’t be able to move forward.

You will now see a Data Protection page. Check the boxes and click the submit button.

You have now completed Stage 1 of the application. We will check your details and then send you an email which asks you to complete Stage 2 of the application.

Check your spam/junk folders to see if our email has ended up there. You can add admissions@colegsirgar.ac.uk to your contacts to stop this from happening.

Stage 2

In stage 2 of your appliaction, you will be filling in the rest of your information. It should take about 10 minutes, but you can save your progress if you need to.

Your qualifications - this can be your predicated grades, or what you think you might acheive

You have now finished Stage 2. If there are interview slots available to book, this option will now be available now. If you don’t see the option to book an interview don’t worry - you’ll receive another email to invite you to book later.

If you already have a Prospect account, but have not been provided with a college login yet, then you can use your Prospect account login (normally your personal email) and password to log in.

If you are a current student at the college, and have been provided with your college account details, and have an active college Google account, you will be able to log into Prospect (the college application system), using your college email, and college email password, using the ‘Click here to login with your college Google Account’ link on the Prospect login page.
What is my Prospect Login Name?

Your Prospect login is shown on all your communications that you receive from the college. Normally, this will be the personal email address that you have registered with us. If you are still unsure, then you can contact us here - admissions@colegsirgar.ac.uk

How do I reset my Prospect password?

You can reset your Prospect password here - https://apply.colegsirgar.ac.uk/ResetPassword.

You should enter your personal email address, and then click on submit. If the personal email that you have provided is found, then you will be sent an email with a link to reset your password. If you do not receive the email, please get in touch with us here - admissions@colegsirgar.ac.uk.
