Report Misconduct and Help Keep Our Community Safe
Coleg Sir Gâr and Coleg Ceredigion are committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where everyone feels respected and valued.
We believe bullying, harassment, and discrimination – including sexual harassment, violence, abuse, or hate – are never acceptable. We take all reports of this nature extremely seriously.
By reporting any concerns, you’re helping us maintain a positive college culture where everyone can learn, work, and remain free from harm.
-
If you’re in immediate danger, feel unsafe, or someone is seriously hurt, call 999 straight away.
If you’re worried or have concerns about your own safety or someone else’s, speak to any member of staff as soon as possible. They will help you access the right support services.
You can also contact a Safeguarding Officer or email:
For non-urgent wellbeing concerns, our Wellbeing Team is based on every campus. You can drop in or email:
-
If you’ve experienced – or witnessed – behaviour that isn’t okay, please use our Incident Reporting Form. This includes incidents that happen on campus, online, during placements, or off-site.
You can report on the following, although this list is not exhaustive:
- Bullying
- Discrimination
- Harassment
- Health and Safety Concerns
- Homophobia/Transphobia
- Online Abuse
- Physical Abuse
- Racism
- Sexism
- Substance Abuse
- Spiking
- Vandalism or Property Damage
- Verbal Abuse
There’s also an ‘Other’ option where you can describe an incident that doesn’t fit one of the listed categories.
Each section of the form includes simple descriptions and examples to help you decide which option to choose.
-
This Incident Reporting Form is for:
- Learners
- Visitors
The form also provides you with an opportunity to report an incident on behalf of someone else.
Sometimes it isn’t safe to assume that the person affected will choose to report the incident, so please use the reporting form if you notice anything that you feel should be brought to our attention.
-
Yes. You can submit the form anonymously or choose to share your name and contact details.
If you’re reporting on someone else’s behalf, please be aware that you won’t be able to include their contact information (unless you have their consent).
-
If you report anonymously:
- We won’t be able to respond to your individual case.
- However, the information you share will still help us spot patterns and prevent future incidents.
- Anonymous reports are kept confidential and are used for monitoring and prevention work only.
If you share your name and contact details:
- We will contact you within three working days (excluding weekends and public holidays).
- You’ll be offered support and signposted to any relevant services.
- Your information will be kept confidential unless there is a legal safeguarding concern or serious risk of harm.
- We will never share your details without your permission, unless required to by law.
For more details about how we handle your data, please see our Policy.
