Students recognised at Achievements of Excellence Awards

The Achievements of Excellence Awards are an annual celebration recognising the outstanding accomplishments of students at Coleg Sir Gâr and Coleg Ceredigion.

Each year, teaching staff nominate three learners from every curriculum area, with the overall award winner revealed during the evening’s celebrations by the event host.

It’s not just about academic excellence, it’s about dedication, respect, personal journeys and challenges and the overall person who has gone the extra mile. 

This year, the Coleg Ceredigion ceremony took place at the Cliff Hotel, with Welsh sports commentator Dylan Ebenezer as guest compere, whilst Coleg Sir Gâr held their awards at Ffwrnes Theatre, which were compered by Welsh actor Ioan Hefin.

Senior leaders, including the principal, join students and their families for this special occasion, celebrating their achievements and recognising the dedication, talent and success of learners across both colleges.
