What you will learn

Monthly taught sessions with an individual tutorial/one-on-one session for every unit. 

Delivery of the course will be tailored to complete one unit of delivery per monthly session. 

There are five mandatory units, covering the skills and knowledge you need to be effective at this level:

  • Thorough grounding in your role and responsibilities
  • Crucial soft skills – including communication, relationship-building
  • Develop your critical thinking abilities
  • Understand the financial concepts that inform management decisions
  • Identify and analyse opportunities for improvement
  • Find and implement innovative solutions, lead through change

The remaining units cover a broad range of core and specialist topics.

These qualifications will provide progression opportunities to other qualifications, including: 

  • ILM Level 7 Diploma in Principles of Leadership and Management

All units are assignment based.
