The modular programme comprises a minimum of six specified modules (a total of 120 level four credits). The full qualification is awarded when all modules have been completed.

Successful completion of the HNC can enhance career prospects within the construction industry and related employment opportunities such as local authorities, housing associations, health service trusts, privatised utilities and other property owning industries. The qualification can be upgraded to a foundation degree with further study.

The modules are assessed through a combination of assignments, projects, phase tests and examinations.

  • A construction related level 3 technical qualification
