Mae myfyrwyr Coleg Sir Gâr a Choleg Ceredigion wedi sicrhau eu lle mewn amrywiaeth o ddigwyddiadau sgiliau diwydiant yn rowndiau terfynol cenedlaethol cystadlaethau nodedig WorldSkills y DU.

Mae un o gyfarwyddwr y coleg wedi dychwelyd o Ganada yn ddiweddar lle cymerodd ran, gydag uwch arweinwyr eraill o Gymru, mewn cynllun cydweithio rhyngwladol i fynd i'r afael ag aflonyddu rhywiol a chasineb at fenywod rhwng cyfoedion ymhlith dysgwyr mewn colegau addysg bellach.

Every year, animal behaviour and welfare degree students delve into the heart of real-life challenges within the industry, through their individual research projects.

The individual research project, focused on animal welfare issues is a pivotal component of the course which is taught at the end of the degree.

Mae myfyrwraig Safon Uwch yng Ngholeg Sir Gâr wedi ennill y wobr gyntaf yn yr Eisteddfod ar gyfer ei sgiliau golygu a ffotograffiaeth a ddefnyddiwyd mewn delwedd a grëwyd ganddi oedd yn cyfleu gwreiddiau coll traddodiad Cymreig.

Mae myfyrwyr Dechrau Newydd a Sylfaen yng Ngholeg Sir Gâr yn dathlu ennill eu gwobrau Dug Caeredin (DoE) ac am y tro cyntaf ers sawl blwyddyn, mae llawer ohonynt wedi dewis herio eu sgiliau ymhellach fyth ac wedi cwblhau’r wobr arian.

Travel and tourism students at Coleg Sir Gâr have recently returned from what they are describing as a ‘lifechanging visit’ to Vietnam.

The Taith-funded eight-day trip, took eight students to Ho Chi Minh City and specifically linked them with Thu Duc College of Technology (TDC).
